Let’s assume I am on the verge of dropping out of college. My question is; if I drop out of school today, what will happen to my student visa, will it still be active?
If you drop out of school, your school will notify immigration authorities, and your student visa will be terminated. This will render you out of status which means you no longer have legal status to remain in the country and are expected to leave the country voluntarily.
If you fail to leave within the expected time, you’ll be deported back to your home country.
